I don’t usually do IR shots with people or animals, but this horse was kind enough to stay still for me for 2 seconds. ......................................................................................................... Bored in a stable with nothing to do. / We make a game of throwing our shoes. / Lead me to water, but not to the track. / Show me a saddle and I’ll say, “Hey get off my back.” / All in favor (all in favor) say “Nay!” / We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) hay. / We’re gonna graze all of our days. / Until they take us away and turn us into glue. / Like Mr. Ed always said… May the horse be with you. The abandoned farmhouse continues! / / After I opened the front door, I couldn’t go in. / There was a huge drop off there, so I had to go / around. When I went inside, this is what I saw. / (And sadly, the door in my “Welcome Home” photo had / been ripped off. This is exactly how it looked in 1989. The ivy stays here year round. It’s weird, because it’s barren outside; winter. But when you step inside (which isn’t hard..you simply step through the wall) it looks like a summer day. Very odd & surreal feeling. I was coming home yesterday from an appointment downtown, / and happened to look over and see this place. It was completely / abandoned, along with garages, a barn and cars. Didn’t go in, (yet..heh) but I got a few good shots from the front. I added the flood..(to go with the title.) / / CS3/Corel/handheld/Samsung/HDR / I can’t even begin to list all of the things I did to this. / One filter conversion to the next applying and painting certain areas with the saturation brush, then repeating the process + / overlays & more fine tuning! “Clouds on the Water, Fire Near the Sky” / Purchase a Mouse Pad of this image I happened onto this gorgeous sunrise over the White River at a time when the water was at its lowest. I was delighted to catch the calm surface for reflections, as the low rising sun was casting its first orange glow over the autumn colors.
