Taken a few miles east of Leicester, near Allexton. Its that time in the UK, just before the wheat gets harvested – heavy heads beginning to nod gently under the weight of the grain, and the weather unable to decide whether it is summer or not, threatening to flatten the crop, just it is ready. Leicestershire is full of distant horizons like this, and the Barley is all but in now, much of the ground already having been put under the plough in readiness for the next crop.

a work done in Photoshop and corel painter using both paint and textures and layers …... im feeling a deep sense of sadness due to all the unrest in the world and i have always felt that the native people of any country are not well treated we white people just charged in and took over with no thought for them or the land and its still happening so this is a work to honour them and say SORRY This piece is showing how they are one with the land and i know that there spirits must reside in all things including the trees when they depart this earth…........
