Taken from Kings Tableland, over looking the Jamison valley in the Blue Mountains, NSW. Thanks to Leeo for nominating this image for Pay it Forward. Here’s what Leeo said about this image: / Foggy images are one of my all time faves, and this is one of the best that I have ever seen! The fog / low cloud is just incredible! The lighting on the cliff faces of the blue mountains is just beautiful & the Anticrepuscular Rays in the sky just finish it off beautifully Thanks again Leanne.

If any Londoner had chosen to brave Saturday’s blistering 18’ and shuffled down to one of our more fashionable districts and into a certain Demo Store, they’d have had their awe neuron shattered as an immense wave of ‘excellence in t-shirt design’ overcame them. Yes, the winners of our most recent Sound tee competition have hit the shelves, to the delight of 12 million shoppers and considerably more pigeons. Let’s once again put our mouse down and our hands together for the clear champions Ine Spee, Cathie T, Scott Robinson, Nick Ford and DieselLaws. That’s enough words, show me those pictures…... This is the mannequin they’ll all eventually get displayed on. / Ine Spee’s Whistle Boy in the front window. / And I was just about to swear at these people for ‘being in the way’ when I realised they were photographing Ine Spee’s top in the window, so instead I gave them some chocolate. / Good work on all fronts, to Demo, to the winners, to everyone who entered, and to all of you for voting efforts. Bye
This is the one for me, this one has all the drama, love the sky breaking up to the left, this wasn’t were I was going this morning, the end of the valley had low lying cloud, that clour acted as a barrier, stopping the sun coming through and throwing this fantastic pink light down the valley. This location is 5 mins from home, behind me is SH2, and streaming cars heading to work in Wellington, we have had bad weather lately which is giving some great skys. Shot in the Hutt River, looking into Trentham Park, this is about 7.45am, sun rising to my left. Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm lens, with Cokin ND8 grad filter. Other images I shot this morning / Perfect Cotton Floss / Candy Floss Hutt Dawn / Vertical Candy Floss Dawn / Towards Silverstream
This was a father and daughter project. / shot by Regita light painted by a single torch in a dark room.
Shot to the left of Fyffe’s House, North Bay at Kaikoura on New Zealand’s South Island. the light started to become more a intense pink as we go closer to sun rise, shot about 10 mins after Dusky Dawn Shot on a Nikon D700 with 17-35mm lens, with Cokin ND8 grad filter.
