  • A Cosmos “Daydream” flower

  • The beauty of cosmos with the bokeh of night-time, just off the famous Nakamise street in Asakusa.

  • I was walking around Omotesando and Harajuku to kill some time before meeting a friend the other night and found this patch of cosmos flowers. Planted out in the street, behind them were the lights of a shop and a vending machine was providing some light from my side. Just beautiful. Got mesmerised for a good fifteen minutes by these flowers. Nikon D300 / 85mm f/1.4 AF D

  • Is it flying through space or peering through a macro lens? I can’t really explain what I feel about this one. It kind of creeps me out. But I really really love it, feel a part of it. Every month my garden changes color like magic. The perennials faithfully take their turn to display their beauty. My favorite month is August when many of my perennials are pink and white. Cosmos are in the foreground of this photo and in the background are allium, pink phlox, hibiscus, coneflowers and more. Taken 8/23/09 in my yard. GARDEN MAGIC /

  • Cosmos is my favorite flower, and the hardest to photograph! They grow so tall and the slightest breeze causes them to dance all around… But still, I love to photograph them! This has a bit of color treatment to it.
