On a stone terrace overlooking the Sea Of Cortez In Los Cabos, Mexico, this colorful setting greeted the diners, and set the tone for a lively lunch.

As the sun retreats for the day in Los Cabos, Mexico, it turns the desert a golden hue, nestled by the Sea of Cortez.

Well, my secret is finally out!! Most of the time spent in Cabo San Lucas is right in this chair, looking at the Sea of Cortez checking for whales, and occasionally , in January, thinking of friends who live in Boston.

Oasis on the beach at Kino Bay in Sonora Mexico. The sign is a large menu that reads Cocos, Helado con callo, Camaron, Cacahuate, Chaca-Chaca … Muy Ricos! Chaca Chaca has many references including a dance, a song & type of Catfish, but here in Sonora it’s a main dish created from Machaca which is a type of dried meat. I could crop quite a few interesting photos from this scene including the hand painted sign, interesting architectural details and the roof between the restaurant area and block storage shed which is made from old road signs and sheets of cardboard.
