This is a shot of an abandoned pig barn. It has been closed for many years now and it is all boarded up, fortunatley my wife in all her slyness found us a way in. There is still equipment scattered about the floor with gunk and grime thick upon it. I was driving on the freeway and saw a lady working out her horse. I had my camera and could not resist this beautiful palomino kicking up her heels and having a great time of it. This is one of a swag of photos I took on one incredible winters day in 2004. With its snow covered granite peaks Mt Buffalo National Park is in my opinion the most picturesque alpine area in Victoria. This view seems to be born out in the fact that it was the equal second nation park created in this state in 1898. A stunning area which will always hold the special distinction of the place I asked my wife for her hand. For more pictures from this area check out my Mt Buffalo gallery.
