View of a window in an old building along the Lake Superior waterfront at Cornucopia, Wisconsin. This small fishing port offers up some of the BEST smoked lake trout I’ve ever tasted available at several quaint shops nearby. Just a slight bit of Redfield frac added to give this shot a “painterly feel”. Featured at “Lake Superior: Gitchigami” – March 29, 2009.

Melbourne’s Yarra River is a cornucopia of colour every night, 365 days a year. But on New Year’s Eve 2008, the river reflected magical colours and spangles during the traditional fireworks display. Shot without a tripod. I do not post-edit or crop my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D using a Sigma 70-300mm lens. F4.5, 1 sec, ISO 800, focal length 170mm.
