These girls were sitting down near us at the markets in Lac village. They’d just bought corn from a lady roasting vegetables over charcoal and were enjoying a bite and a giggle in between buying and selling clothes.
...except when there are ladies present.

This was about 20 metres from our campsite, lovely evening and a nice little seaside town too :) Copyright 2008.
Constructed in 1882 the lighthouse was originally illuminated by burning mineral oil. It was converted to mains power in 1978. The lighthouse was originally built to assist grain ships, but still forms an important navigational aid today Corny point is located on the northern side of the foot of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia.

Corny Point is at the north-western tip of the “boot” of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. It was named by Matthew Flinders in March 1802. The lighthouse was built in 1882. The site is notable for outcrops of Palaeoproterozoic gneisses of the Lincoln Complex on the wave cut platform at the base of the low limestone cliffs.
