2 Corinthians 5:17 / If Anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old is gone, the new has come. / This is a purple rendition of the Painted Jezebel Butterfly alongside the verse. / I thought it would be appropriate as a butterfly becomes a butterfly after it has patiently waited (through the different stages of it’s life) and also been through the caterpillar stage(often less captivating and beautiful relative to it’s adult stage.) It’s like how God transforms our ugliness into His righteousness!

TO TAKE THE PISS / To take the piss is a British slang expression meaning to mock, tease, ridicule or scoff. Take the mickey (or variations) are euphemistic ways of conveying this expression where the word “piss” may be vulgar. / The term sometimes refers to a form of mockery or a piss take in which the mocker exaggerates the other person’s characteristics; pretending to take on his or her attitudes, etc., in order to make them look funny. / The phrase is in common usage throughout English society, employed by headline writers in broadsheet gazettes and tabloids as well as colloquially and is also used in English speaking countries such as Australia. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” / 2 Corinthians 12:9 * / When we are weak, God is strong. I decided to choose this verse, as the picture I had was of very tiny flowers – their petals almost felt like ‘crispy tissue paper’ – very fragile and delicate. There are 2 flowers that stand out here and this is a reminder to myself – that when we are weak, God is strong. How wonderful! God Bless!
