LOL / I started to create statue like art pieces recently, and it dawned on me that somewhere perhaps someone is looking for new and innovated designs, to make into real sculptures/statues. / I would love to bring these creation ideas to life, of course I would retain the copyright design end of it but perhaps a collaboration between an artist and a sculpturer work make for a fine business venture. / If anyone knows how I can approach such people in that field please email me with info. Hughes Pump House – MOONTA Yorke Peninsula, South Australia The historic town of Moonta is approximately 165 kilometres north-west of Adelaide, in the upper Yorke Peninsula region known alternately as South Australia’s ‘Copper Triangle’ or ‘Little Cornwall’. The Moonta Mines State Heritage Area extends approximately 2.5 kilometres east-west, and 3.5 kilometres north-south, of the town. It covers most of the former Moonta Mining Company lease, and includes the main mining, industrial and residential components of Moonta Mines and Yelta. The town of Moonta on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia was the place that in 1861, Paddy Ryan found copper traces coming out of a wombats burrow. The wombat’s burrow was on the pastoral lease of Walter Sir Walter Watson Hughes. Hughes formed the Tipara Mining Company, which later became the Moonta Mining Co. We all like to think that if anyone needed help or guidence,we would be only too happy to assist in any way possible..don’t we? / Well,I do at any rate and as part of a neighbourhood,decided to set up a Neighbourhood Watch for my Street a year or so ago. / As the Street Co-Ordinator,I host meetings for the local residents,and we have a good old giggle at the shenanigans of some people,but we are ONE,when it comes to watching out for each other,no matter what. / This is an unpaid voluntary thing,and I have gone out of my way to make people aware of any problems in the area. / Our Local PCSO,(police community support oficer) / is a really dedicated person,who will bend over backwards to make sure things improve,and has attended meetings even when off duty! / But,there is one particular PCSO,who really is a Royal Pain in the Ass. / Rude,Obnoxious,Frustrated wannabe Copper,who just doesn’t make the grade,expects information from the likes of the General Public,including me taking a camera out at night to snap a car that was being used for drug usage. / Like a bloody fool I complied,but nothing was done about the drugs issue. / During this last few months,she has attended my home with our Regular PCSO,and the more I saw of this bitch and her attitude,the more I resented her. / She made me look small (even though I am) on more than one occassion,and questioned me like I was part of the crimewave in the area. / So,on one particular day,I told her to Fk off out of my house,in front of the nice PCSO and a proper copper,who the hell did she think she was? / Friggin Morse or Columbo! / After this,she always plodded up and down outside of my gate while our regular PC asked if there were any problems. / Last Sunday,hubby came in from the garage area and told me that there was a Black Toyota parked up,but it had no number plates on it. / Now,I know this is illegal,and wondered if the plates had been nicked,or the car had been stolen…who knows what has this car been involved in! / I phoned the Police to report the car,but as is normal in this part of the country,the cop shop is rarely manned,so no answer came the firm reply. / I happen to have all of the contact numbers of our PCSO,and emailed her with all of the details,doing what neighbourhood watch members should do. / A couple of day’s later,I got a reply from my nice lady,and she apologised that she hadn’t got back to me sooner but she was waiting to go into hospital the next day. / I told her not to worry,as the vehicle had driven off,soon after I sent the email anyway. / She told me that she would pass it on to her colleagues when they came on duty. Thursday evening,I received an email from the hateful PCSO,it was addressed to me and came from the official Police website,but it wasn’t meant for me,it was meant for the nice PCSO who was off sick. If you recall , we have already checked out this vehicle several weeks ago. The r/o had hisbolates stolen a few weeks ago, he now keeps them inside the car ( not ideal I know), also he takes them in his house overnight. An incident was created and a unit attended and spoke with the r/o. / Cynthia is wrong yet again, shame she never informed us about one of her CLOSE neighbours growing Cannabis. / She makes me spit. / Hope u r feeling better, don’t rush back, think if yourself not the job. * / Well,as you can imagine I was spitting bloody feathers,not only did she accuse one of my neighbours of growing Cannibis..(BS,just because he is an old Pakistani man who was approached by yobs and offering drugs,basically Dealing,and my reporting the yobs on behalf of him,because he was scared of their returning!),she actually makes the mistake of sending this to the person who told her to Fk Off and I make her want to spit! / I instantly phone the Police,and ask the woman to pass me onto someone higher than her,and she argued the toss with me for a good 5 minutes,attempting to paint over this Huge Cock-up the Bitch had made. / I eventually got through to someone with authority,and she was brilliant.She attempted to contact the Sergeant,and the Inspector at the Local Nick,but they were out and about so would have to wait until tomorrow.She told me that this was very Unprofessional,and she would makesure that this would be dealt with. / I was supposed to go to the Docs next day,but I was so wound up,decided to cancel. / I got a call at 1pm,so I could have made my appointment but it was far too late to do anything about it. / The Sergeant asked me to forward the email to him to see,but I told him I would keep a copy of this for my records,which he said was fine..too bloody right! / I got a call from him a while later,and he asked if he could come and see me and check my Format on my computer,I agreed but had no idea what that meant..wonder if he thought I had made this all up…typical. / He just wanted to see the Original email,which I showed him and he confirmed that it had indeed been sent through the Police Website. / He asked me what I wanted to do,and I told him that no matter what,that Bitch must Never Darken my doorway ever again,because she had such a surly attitude that People Skills was and never had been evident in this Cow Bag. / Internal will be dealing with her on Monday,because as I see it I could push for her losing her job,but why would I,she does F*k All anyway! / Sorry this is so long and drawn out,but just had to write it down to help me get it out of my system. / Thanks for reading,if you got this far..LMAO.

Well,for the curious people on the subject of my last Journal. / The Sergeant called me this afternoon and told me he had spoken to the PCSO who accidently sent me an email that wasn’t for my eyes,but made a cock-up and sent it to me anyway.It stated the fact that: / “Cynthia makes me spit!” / The Sarge said he had spoken to the offending officer,and he Apologised on her behalf because she isn’t allowed anywhere near me from now on,and told her to avoid me at all costs because I was so angry,and I don’t suffer fools lightly! / Needless to say I will bump into her at sometime or other,but I will make sure that “I do the spitting”. / Just wish I could have been a fly on that wall today. / So there we have it as far as I know she has apologised ..mmmmm I wonder if she did? / LOL!

These cards came in Tuckfields/Ty-nee Tips tea for years / and feature images of Australian native birds. The cards were / also available in Kinkara Tea and Copper Kettle coffee. A complete series of the bird cards consists of 480 cards / and 5 albums, based on what I have: Series One goes from 1 – 96 (blue or white album) / Series Two goes from 97 – 192 (green album) / Series Three goes from 193 – 288 (red album) / Series Four goes from 289 – 384 (purple album) / Series Five goes from 385 – 480 (orange album) Studying the card backs there is some variation. Some have / a grey/black oval masthead on the back whereas later cards don’t. Card back wording might say: Tuckfields Australiana series birds / Tuckfields Australian bird series / Tuckfields Australiana bird studies / Kinkara Tea Australiana bird studies / Copper Kettle Instant Coffee Australiana bird studies / Australiana Bird Studies There are some people who choose to collect the many / variations available. For myself I am collecting a complete / basic set in albums and a loose one alongside.
