  • I started reading Les Liaisons dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons), by Choderlos de Laclos. I was doodling and this drawing sort of reminded me of the Vicomte de Valmont. Although, it doesn’t share much of a resemblance to John Malkovich. I imagined Vicomte de Valmont’s voice to be deeper… hm. / (but maybe that’s just a figured trait for a rake, ha.) ...I almost hate having people ask me to tell them about the book when they ask me what I’m reading. Mostly because my classmates are immature, and I sound like a strange cross between a history geek and a perv / haha : ( so it usually ends with “it’s complicated.”

  • Drew this during my vacation in Japan. One day I went to Osaka Castle to do some sketching. I foudnt his neat little Shinto Shrine off the side of the main Castle, and liked the composition with the pillar and Torii. While I was in the middle of sketching, this huge raven [bigger than the one I ended up drawing] came and perched on that exact spot. Really, really awesome. I had gotten some grayscale [actually they’re kinda blue but the labels say gray] Copic markers the day before, so I experimented some with them and got this.
