Sunrise on Lake Cootharaba in Cooloola National Park, Queensland. This Park is part of the Great Sandy National Park which incorproates Fraser Island. Cooloola is interwoven with scenic waterways including the upper Noosa River and its tributaries as well as Lake Cootharaba itself. Great for kayaking! The lake is shallow tidal, brackish and freshwater. The surrounding wetlands are a fish nursery. Tannin stained waters of the upper Noosa River make for a tea like apearance; almost black, reflections are stunning. /
