I feel sharks are peaceful by nature and being over fished, killed by nets, and by finning ( fishermen take all the fins of of the shark and throw the shark back into the water alive and unable to swim, there are no regulatons on this activity). You are more likely to be hit by lightning then to be bit by a shark. Sharks usually only bite because they mistake humans for their favorite food the seal. If people don’t help the shark they will be come exstinct in the near future. I feel they are very graceful creatures and should be protected. Please go to / Sharkwater to find out more on sharks and how they are being mistreated. Half of the mark up amount will go to seashepherd to help to preserve this glaceful creature. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / I painted this black tip reaf shark in acrylic on canvas / Animals / Birds / Drawings / Flowers / Water / Holiday / Paintings / Sunsets / Autumn

UPDATE- After some deep digging within Texas Common Butterfly sites I now know that this little guy is a tiny Zilpa Longtail (Chioides zilpa) which is a member of the Spread-wing Skippers (Hesperiidae: Pyrginae) group…so he is still a Butterfly..just a little one ….although he is closely related to a moth… kinda tricky huh? Thanks!!! / Suni —-— / I do not know the name of this little butterfly…I am currently looking through the literal hundreds of native Texas butterflies and moths to see if I can find a name for him…if anyone may know…I would love to know…it would also save me a lot of time sorting through tons of information….(I dont mind the research..I just want to know what it is called) This teeny little flyer was polite enough to stay still and pose for me through several shots…..well I dont know if it was posing so much as the weather is beginning to get cooler….therefore the butterflies dont move too fast. As winter approaches in my area the butterflies are preparing to leave…They move really slow when they get cold..if they can fly at all…Pretty soon they will be completely gone from my area…so I have been trying to stock up on as many good portraits of them before they leave….That way I can see them all winter while working in photoshop instead of having to wait for their return next year…lol Thank you for viewing my work!!! / Suni
My cat has a fixation with my water cooler, so when the bottle was gone, she sat on top and waited for a new one.
I walked around the pen till I got the image I wanted with the goat, water, and the open fence that it could just walk around. Priceless
Cheyeah.

The stubby cooler would have to be one of the most ingenious (and popular) examples of Australian entrepreneurial skills. The simplest way to explain it is this: a stubby is a can of beer, while a stubby cooler is a lightweight cylindrical casing that holds the beer can and, more crucially, helps to insulate it. So, you’re wondering why we need to insulate beer cans? Because this is a hot country. And we drink our beer ice-cold. It doesn’t get cooler than that, does it? This photo was a tough one because the man’s face is in deep shade cast by the brim of his Akubra, while the rest is in bright afternoon light. And yes, that’s an iconic Holden ute (utility vehicle) in the background. This was shot in 2007, using a Pentax K100D. F8, 1/350 sec, ISO 200 and focal length 68mm.
The water cooler is tradionally the best place to get a good vicious rumor started…
