/ (Award Winning) Earl (Grey) and his girlfriend Jasmine, have their own tea party :) You can’t go wrong with a kamikaze sun and dandelions, its a formula that ceases to fail! Recently, both publicly and privately I’ve been discussing my processes with you kids! Although all of the elements here (basically everything with a thickblackoutline) were pre-existing, ......... it took about 4-5 hours to put together!

...and she bakes! :P White Chocolate Star Cookies ½ c butter/marg / ½ c caster sugar / dash of vanilla extract / ¾ c white choc melted / 1 egg, beaten / 2 cups plain flour# / ½ teaspoon baking powder so you cream the butter and sugar, add the vanilla and then mix in the melted choclate well before adding the egg. / then sift flour and baking powder. / wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate for 30 mins. / roll out to about 5mm thickness. #i found i needed more flour to work with as the stars i cut weren’t keeping their shape. plus it was humid, so you might need to add some more, no need to knead it (!), just get it happening and workable. bake in preheated 180° oven for 15 mins, or until golden. decorating: / i just dipped half in some melted white (and milk) chocolate, and then sprinkled, 100s & 1000s, coconut, drinking chocolate. you could also try chopped nuts, crushed toffee, all sorts of things. be sure to fire up your baking paper piping bags!

There has been some discussion on Redbubble lately of what art should be. Some feel that it should be “pretty” to be art. I’ve always looked at art as being all inclusive. Let’s not even go to the concepts of tact, consideration, and good manners. This image is the germ of an idea that I hope to refine during the next year. How do we take the pretty, the sugary and give it depth of meaning?

And they’re really stacked!

When I see something like this, I just really start to wonder about the forces of nature and the actual timespan it took to wear solid rock away to create a hole like this. / This rock lies near one of my favourite places, and because of shifting sands, only becomes visable about every 5 years or so.
