I’ve posted this over at the forums but I thought it was important to post here as well. The following chart was made to help take the guess work out of how your t-shirt design colours will look after Red Bubble’s colour conversion. I simply took a CMYK swatch palette from Photoshop and put it on a t-shirt in Redbubble. As a result, all the colours were converted. Update- I’ve now added coordinates so you can easily find the relating colours between each swatch set. -In the first block of swatches is an extensive range of CMYK colours which you can use while in RGB or CMYK mode to colour your designs. On the bottom is how these colours will be converted on RB’s shirt design preview. For a larger version of the colour guide you can go here (copy and paste in your browser)- http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/1130/tshirtcolourguidenewwl6.jpg Hope this helps everyone.

I have been getting many e-mails asking about how I convert my drawings from paper to tee-shirts, with a transparent background. Here’s how I do it: I scan my drawings, then if needed, I clean them up by erasing extra marks and such. Then I use a photoshop action that can be downloaded here: Link This action is for Adobe photoshop only! How it works: this works only with black/white images (colored images will be automatically converted to b/w), and basically converts everything to black, but the lighter areas become various transparencies of black (this results in various shades of gray when viewed against any background). After you apply the action, you end up with two layers: background (white) and outlines (the drawing). I delete the background layer, and…ta-da!! If I choose to color the design, then I create another layer, and put it underneath the outlines layer, so that the color would go under the black outlines. Note: tweak your contrast and levels BEFORE applying the action, as you won’t be able to tweak anything afterward because your drawing will be technically all BLACK. I tried to explain this as best as I could, and hope this makes sense to everyone. / Feel free to ask any further questions!! Olga Here are some samples of my work where I used this process: 1st one is a pencil drawing, and the 2nd was drawn in pen. / / /
This is based on a photo i took driving round the Spa formula 1 race track in Belgium in my Bug. sadly it was a procession rather than a chance to rag it :@( If you love Classic VWs like this one then check out all the others below Please visit the new bubble site SIEGEWORKS / This best way to view all siegeworks designs in one place!

Dear Nacham, / How did I end up with your G-d when you left me? He was yours; you shared Him with me. You introduced us and you helped me carry Him home. When I complained about how difficult it was to learn everything about Him, you told me that He’d smile on us for trying. You even taught me how to cook the right food…and patiently explained why there was very little pesadik Easter candy available at the local supermarket. You shared your parents’ stories and your own, and you were the one who asked me over and over and over again if I knew what I was doing…was I sure?? But one day you woke up and decided to leave. Well, I guess that’s how it went. You never told me anything. You just left. And there I was with G-d. I’d officially adopted Him. I couldn’t give him back, could I? Even though we were still strangers to each other in so many ways…even though my family and friends had never been properly introduced to Him…even though I could no longer support him in the way He was used to, when you and I were together. I admit I neglected Him a little for a while. OK….for a couple of years. I did what I had to do for Him and He never needed anything, but I didn’t spend time with Him and didn’t give Him the love and attention and praise that we did when we were still a couple. Some nights I wished He’d run away or wander to a neighbor’s house and see if they’d like to give Him a home. Time has passed and I’m still not certain why you left Him behind. I know you loved Him! I know you needed to be with Him. But here He is, watching me with those big soulful eyes, waiting for me to give him a smile. I didn’t bring Him home because of you, you know? I did that in spite of you. You told me not to. You warned me I’d never be the same. You cautioned me time and again that I’d surely regret my decision. “You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into!!” is what you told me. You were right. I had no idea. And I wish you were still here with us, because I miss you every second of the day. But whatever your reason was, dear Nacham, I’m glad you left Him here with me. / I think we belong together….
