  • Mid West USA
    by Melinda Kerr

    US$3.85–US$102.60

I took this on a road trip through Colorado. The little bloke the middle is my nephew Jack. I love this shot and yet everything in it is so inconsequential. Perhaps that’s its secret for me. It demonstrates the typical props of American life. The consumer goods, the ATM, the ‘wild west test your strength game’ Jack is playing with, the hint of USA embroidery on the shirt worn by the man on the left and the wonderful stance and gaze of the harley rider over Jack’s left shoulder. So random yet so complete.

  • Where do the Children Play?
    by Colin Tobin

    US$3.95–US$105.49

Taken in a convenience store in Goulds, Newfoundland. / Title is from a lovely tune by Cat Stevens. ..................................... / Click here to add me to your watch list. / .....................................

  • Harley riders traverse mid west USA on their fire breathing, mechanical chariots. / Flaunting stereotype they are more often white collar wanderers than barnstorming bikies. Freedom and the pursuit of it is an American obsession. Considered a right it attracts pilgrims from east to west, north to south. Juxtaposed against breathtaking scenery they demonstrate modernity on an ancient stage. As they pursue the most contemporary of quests for that ageless holy grail – freedom.

  • Modern Conveniences
    by Clarissa Stuart

    US$3.99–US$106.40

From my Ghost Town series. This image won 3rd place in a contest at another photo site :o) The lighting in this shot really rings my bell. It is 100% natural daylight coming thru the window of the structure. This one almost composed itself ;-) These make handsome cards.

  • Public Convenience?

  • Turkey Hill
    by Ann Rodriquez

    US$4.28–US$114.00

How about some tea to go with lunch?! When I first moved to Pennsylvania eight years ago, I had already heard about Turkey Hill tea through some friends. It turns out that ‘Turkey Hill’ also has its own incredible ice cream and other food products that are all sold at their numerous convenience stores/gas stations in this area. Sometimes I think that people here worship the Turkey Hill god…it’s a bit scary!

  • Anyone for a tinkle?

  • This photo was taken after a frustrating day of nonstop cell phone calls. We feel like we are so lucky to have all of these modern conveniences and sometimes they drive us crazy. I thought it might make for an interesting photo and remind us of a time when we just had telephone poles, wires, transformers and such. Lol. I hope you enjoy. If you have any comments let me know. Have a great day and don’t get a sore finger from texting too much.
