This is Sidney, he is a 3 year old Maroon-Bellied Conure… and our “son”. / Actually, we don’t know if he is male or female… for this species, we would need to do a DNA test. However, his avian doc thinks he is a male. He originates from Brazil…. we adopted him when he was 9 months old, and I had to train him to STEP UP. It only took a few days… He has come a long way since. He is mostly outside of his cage, with me… He has gone with us on road trips… some of the places he has been with us. State of Oregon (more then once) My grandparents live there / Yosemite National Park, California / Carmel, California He LOVES being in the car, and travels quite well. Thank you for reading about our Sidney. Darling on the right, not sure of the sex of either actually, but I hand reared this one from 2 weeks old. Gorgeous was bought from a breeder who had hand reared him/her? / Darling talks and says quite a few sentences. / Gorgeous only says ‘come on’ / Darling is now 17 years old, and Gorgeous is 9 years old.

Featured in the Pets Are Us group / Featured in the ‘Colour Me A Rainbow group This is Chilli one of my Sun Conure parrots. Chilli was handreared and though outside in the aviary he is very tame & very affectionate. A bit of fun!! It’s been a couple of weeks since I uploaded the three baby Sun Conure parrots in their nesting log. Look how they have grown! Not fully feathered yet they are being hand reared by me.They are engaging funny little souls.
