A bushfire swept through our area last summer , This was taken as a firefront burst out of the bush onto a bush track, I don’t recomend people getting this close it’s pretty hot .

Our world should be a balance of all things! Human kind has sadly assumed control and rides ‘rough shod’ over everything, even his own kind. What right have we?? We must show respect for things that differ. One day there will be a debt to pay!!!! / This image was made up 6 layers. Starting with two texture layers at varying opacities and each set to multiply. The butterflies were added on two separate layers. The top layer was the flower layer to which I added a layer mask and used the brush tool at varying opacities to reveal the girls face which was on the layer underneath. / /

By that I mean I can’t make up my mind on the subject and have very contradictory feelings and opinions when thinking about it. I hate humans, but I love people(does that make sense?). I love kids, but the thought of raising one in this day and age scares the shit outta me. Not to mention contributig to our biggest problem as a species—-there are just too many of us. The process of abortion seems logical in a lot of instances, but I would be lying if I said my personal involvement in the experience hasn’t sucked a good portion of my soul away…. / and I happen to place a lot of value on my soul, goddammit! / ORIGINAL SOLD

Hearing nothing isn’t the same as hearing something. Nothing is like someone else in the room, taking up space, breathing your air…when all you want is control of your life. And peace. Painted in Photoshop Elements 3. And believe it or not, I’m getting better at this. The little 15 pixel brush is doing a better job of going where I want it to go and doing what I want it to do. Yay!! There’s hope. Even if there isn’t any news.
