See more of my India Series here This man owned this flower shop in the markets in Mumbai, India. If you make eye contact with him he will lure you into his shop and before you know it you are walking out with a bunch of flowers that you paid half of what they are worth but twice as much as a local. / This stall gave me a feeling of happiness and joy in the midst of the social turmoil around it. He was very willing for me to take his picture but unlike the vegetable seller, thought it more appropriate to show his serious face. Part of a series with:

I love these flowers!! They are very delicate looking..yet they can take a beating as far as some of the Texas weather is concerned..like sweltering heat! Either way….Heres another flower macro….yep you guessed it.. but I really love them…

A tulip ^^ Post-Processing: / Cropped, adjusted the white balance and contrast in adobe camera raw. Adjusted the curves, added a texture set to overlay (35%), added the same texture with a rotation set to overlay (15%). Added three black and white layers, one set to multiply (10%), one set to overlay (5%) and one set to normal (20%). Changed the hue by +7.

Had this idea late last night, and had to act on it. Each color is a seperate photo that was edited and re-edited, contrast bumped up 1000% turned to BW and then colorized. Hope you like it!
