  • A winter panorama shot of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway, taken during the christmas holiday. Stitched together of 15 pictures. Post-processing: / Stitched some pictures together, obviously. Fixed the contrast with curves, added a lighter curve only on the lower part as the valley was pretty dark, and the mountain tops really light. Added two black and white layers set to hard light (140%), mainly on the sky and the mountain tops.

  • This image was created at the Apollo Bay Docks early in 2008, went here for a holiday just as I was getting into Photography. I went down to the docks just as a storm was rolling in and it made for some interesting weather conditions! This pic was created from one raw file. I changed the exposures in Lightroom and then merged 3 images using Photomatix, increased the blue and green saturation levels in Lightroom and added a bit of contrast. This is the result! This is my most viewed image on RedBubble Click here for my other images of Victoria

  • Another nice contrast of a dark bruise like purple and sharp yellow leaves.

  • An edit of a photo i took at Cape Otway Lighthouse just of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road in Australia a few months ago on the 28th of February 2008. HDR’d in Photomatix from one RAW file . Found a pic of some birds i took at Elwood Beach a while ago and added them in Photoshop. Some tweaking was also done in Lightroom including the black and white conversion and above is the end result. The Lighthouse is just one of many beautiful attractions in the Great Otway National Park. CAPE Otway Lightstation is the oldest, surviving lighthouse in mainland Australia. The light, which has been in continuous operation since 1848, is perched on towering sea cliffs where Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean collide. For thousands of immigrants, after many months at sea, Cape Otway was their first sight of land after leaving Europe. • The Henry Ross Lookout is on the Kennedy Highway (part of the Savannah Way), which cuts its way up the Macalister Range above Smithfield, a township in the Northern Beaches stretch north of Cairns, to Kuranda at the top of the range. The Kennedy Highway affords spectacular views of the low lying areas between the range and the ocean, and also takes one through lush rainforest areas. I took this exposure on a beautiful clear day. If you would like a High Definition wallpaper of this image, I have put a wallpaper version over at flickr:

  • Long Beach, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Canada / March, 2008 Taken at Long Beach, just outside of Tofino on Vancouver Island as the sun set on a wet and windy day in March. With all of the dark clouds looming it was wonderful to see how what little light there was washing over the wet sand creating a magical effect.

  • Seaworld, QLD Australia / ....I also took some shots of some jumping dolphins, however, the view from the car park really caught my visual attention…

  • A beautiful shot of a maple trees in the fall with the contrasting sky above. Taken in true Infrared to highlight the foliage and contrast the sky. The leaves were a bright yellow. Rendered as a duo-tone. Location: Gatineau Park, Quebec, Canada. Canon G2 with Infrared R72 filter, / HDR , 3 frames, bracketed., processed with Photoshop CS3 Also appears in the calendar Reflections of the Seasons

  • “There are two things parents should give their children: roots and wings. Roots to give them bearing and a sense of belonging, but also wings to help free them from constraints and prejudices and give them other ways to travel, or rather, to fly.” / - Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe Canon 50d. / 17-85 IS USM
