Although my plan was to take some sunset shots…when I got to my favourite “sunset” spot there were too many distractions and decided to get down on hands and knees and get some shots from different angles. The sky was a gorgeous colour and with the sun behind me it really captured the beauty of these little cotton plants (not even sure what they are called).

This reminds me of gummy candies.. I think it’s the color. I was also craving gummy candies while editing this. So that explains a lot..hehe.. I took this some time in the fall when these berries were still on the tree in my front yard. Enjoy!
On DeviantART / Featured on the Homepage 15th April 2009! Firebirds. A fierce, brief indulgence, an inspired glory of exhultation. And then freedom and rising renewed to return to other things. And is the phoenix flying over the sunset, or is it setting a trail of fire and destruction…? Passing by in endless travels, rising newborn from a burning nest, or coming in to land and rest…? How many feathers falling…? ArtRage 2.5 and graphics tablet

A picturesque zoom of summertime blossoms on a hibiscus plant. I have enhanced the original by adding sharpness and contrast. I have even added the text Congratulations to the picture before. However there is no text added in this sample. I can add any text you like upon request. This photo has such nice floral details in it!
This is not sepia… there is still some green… / In Berlin (Germany)... “Between the death, there is still life… / Between sepia tones, there is green… / Between shadows, there is light… / Between sorrow, there is hope…”
Featured in Bee and Wasp Passions and in Bug Hunt Spring can be a time of amazing colors and contrasts. Recently I came across this scene with my macro lens. A wild rose (Rosa acicularis), with its amazing pink and yellow, hosts an iridescent green wasp (hymenoptera pteromalidae). The colors were amazing in “real life”, and captured perfectly by the Nikon D300 and Sigma 150 mm macro lens at the beach on Vancouver Island, Canada.
