How are these arrows opposite, let me count the ways; / Firstly one set is prettily pink whilst the other is boringly grey, / Then the first set is on white and the other is on a ground of colour, / Next the pink arrow is hand drawn whilst the grey is computer generated, / Fourthly the pink arrows have rounded shapes whilst the greys are all angular, / Then the pink arrows are decorated freely whilst the grey stripes are symmetrical, / Next the pretty arrows point east and west whilst the bland are north and south, / Again they differ as the pink arrows are monotone whilst the others are multicoloured, / The Pinks have feminine appeal whilst many men would identify with the bold and grey, / The pretty ones are not ordered whilst the grey are, / Lastly the pinks are bigger as they represent the number of women in the world, / Whilst the greys are smaller as there are less men, so there! / Can you see other differences?

A typical everyday scene in the city of Peterborough. I like the reflections of the old building in the new and the strong lines and contrast of this image. I also like the strong dash of red and pinks adding a vibrancy to the blacks, greys and white. I cannot think of a title for this image at the moment that i like so if anyone wants to try and come up with something please do!

A sadly neglected, out of bloom, name-tag lost, orchid rescued from a big box nursery thrived after a season in the greenhouse and rewarded me with this spray of beautiful pink orchid flowers with contrasting deep gold throats with magenta accents. Because it bloomed in early spring, I named it ‘Pink Melody.’

I hope you’ll enjoy this photo I took of myself about four years ago! The strength of this photograph is the gracefulness, loving, gentle, healthy, happy, sweet spirit that is found in her soul. I am thankful for this special time in my life as I was young and beautiful back then! I actually drew this young female bird picture using pencil first, then oil pastels. I had shared a few brief moments with her before we let her go safely! My only regret is that I only had two t-shirts made! I made this black one for myself & I made another light gray one for my Mom! Then I gave it to my grandparents, matting & all for their 50th wedding anniversary gift!
