A rooster exploring the purple wildflowers in the wetland.
A hardy maple leaves protruding from a fissure in large boulder. These rocks line the harbor pier. Many storms have ripped through this area, but the little plant remains hardy, stedfast and strong.

Acrylics on Canvas. Zichron Ya’aakov , in Israel is one very inspiring place for me. Always a pleasure to visit there. I made several artworks inspired by it… Probably will do more. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Copyrights (c) Nira Dabush.
Another shot of the old Bugle Ranges school house. / This is looking into the room where the Teacher would have stayed when this old school was in use. Now it is overgrown but it appears even the plants want to get out of school!
While travelling around the Kimberley it never ceased to amaze me how tress would grow straight out of the cliff face. The contrast of the red cliff and the green tree was always striking.
Another one of the hundreds of fantastic old doors in the old city of Tripoli, Libya. / . / ! http://images-3.redbubble.com/img/art/border:blackwithdetail/product:mounted-print/size:medium/view:preview/666779-1-gharyan-ancient-pottery.jpg! / . / / . / / . / / . / / . /

We grabbed this out of someone’s trash one day. It’s on our porch now, filled with snow and meltwater stuff. The floor’s caved in, so it’s never going to be useful for anything but art. It’s pretty cool. Taken with a digital camera, very generic, and then played with some gradient layers and overlay settings on photoshop. Yeah.
Hope u like.

A fallen flower on my lawn. Loved the contrast and took a snap.
Hundreds of them, along the roadside, their frail full-red flowers contrasting with the greyish-green leaves and buds… / Aaaah, summer! .... Photograph made with Pentax K10D camera. Post-edited in Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (crop, sharpening and levels only) Comments and feed-back always welcome. Thanks for looking :) / Just as I am
