  • See more of my India Series here This man owned this flower shop in the markets in Mumbai, India. If you make eye contact with him he will lure you into his shop and before you know it you are walking out with a bunch of flowers that you paid half of what they are worth but twice as much as a local. / This stall gave me a feeling of happiness and joy in the midst of the social turmoil around it. He was very willing for me to take his picture but unlike the vegetable seller, thought it more appropriate to show his serious face. Part of a series with:

  • Inspecting sunflower fields one day ….all alone for acres… I felt them leaning in and staring at me….they are huge, creepy. I took this photo at noon… using 35mm and 125 film. When I looked at it on the monitor they reminded my of war torn soldiers.

  • Caught some dawn light on a vase of flowers on my mantlepiece. Fell in love with the shadow. Hope you like it!

  • Taken in my back garden 1st thing on the 27.9.09* I spent most of yesterday trying to slolwy return my garden to some normality, i had decided to go and get some compost to do a couple of tubs and whilst at my local family run garden center noticed these Cyclamen and had to bring a couple back to pot up to brighten up the outside of the back of my house. Seeing these and winter pasies makes me realise autumn and winter is on the way.
