Yay! Potato Girl was featured in Moody, Dark and Evocative 4/2009! Title is a title of a song by Our Lady Peace. Lyrics appear below by way of explanation. We live , we die / I don’t know the reasons we ask why / We hate , we push / Recent tests show we all are / Misunderstood Somethings seizing / You know you lost your mind / You know we all need saving / She found you late last night / You feel the madness growing / You know you just can’t win / You know this But i’m just so tired of waking up on the / Ground I never knew the girl / And i never knew the world hurt We beg, we pray / But everything still happens anyway / Something’s teasing / Your conscience can’t decide / She stopped your will from caving / But left you paranoid You feel the constant straining / She reappears divine / You noticed / But i’m just so tired of waking up all / Alone Digital self-portrait, obviously photoshop modified. :)
This is an exit sign off the I-17/Black Canyon Freeway that just cracks me up EVERY time I see it! How happy can Happy Valley Road really be if the sign leading you to it is shot full of bullet holes? Ha ha ha I have done nothing to alter this ~ this is the actual sign & it’s been this way for at least 20 years that I know of. I don’t know why it strikes me so funny but it does!

A tribute to my favorite artist Friedrich Hundertwasser and his painting ‘The Small Way’. This work represents thoughts of two mutually exclusive, opposed, or contradictory areas of my life as an artist.
Always been amused by the juxtaposition of St Francis church and Melbourne Central. Each paying homage to something completely different. One towering over the other in its physical form and one holding its own in a metaphysical sense. Interesting. / Decided to keep a mono treatment here, if nothing else to make a statement.
I love stop signs, but I hate metal octagons with red paint on them that say “STOP”
