Autumn 2005 – what seemed like the coldest morning – the Federal Coffee Palace was the best hideout. And then whilst sipping my very hot signature mocha, I realised how much I took for granted the majestic look, feel and smell of GPO – or maybe it was the mocha.
i’ll keep digging

Mrs. Redbird seems to be smiling in contentment as she incubates the eggs in the nest and awaits the joyful day when her babies will hatch. Mr. Redbird joined her at the nest today, but he was preoccupied with his reflection in the pane of my bedroom window. She let him ward off what appeared to be another suitor in his eyes, all the while not flinching from her matronly duties at home.
Caught this duck resting peacefully at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Doesn’t it just look so peaceful and content? HDR Images / Prague Images / Aviation Related Images
When ever I see animals up close and personal that are in captivitiy…cant help but wonder what “thoughts” go through their minds….this Polar Bear looks contented but…’ I Wonder..?”

Robin Hoods Bay Robin Hood’s Bay is a small fishing town or village located five miles south of Whitby on the coast of North Yorkshire, England. Bay Town, as it is known to the locals, is in the ancient parish of Fylingdales and in the wapentake of Whitby Strand. The town, which consists of a maze of tiny streets, has a tradition of smuggling, and there is reputed to be a network of subterranean passageways linking the houses. The main legitimate activity had always been fishing, but this started to decline in the late 19th century. These days most of its income comes from tourism. Robin Hood’s Bay is also famous for the large number of fossils which may be found on its beach.
This is my good friend Randy, who has been blessed to make his living as a cowboy throughout the western United States, including Hawaii. Currently he and his wife are managing a ranch in Montana, which is where I captured this picture of him. Randy has always been a hero to me, loving wholeheartedly what he does, and loving God wholeheartedly as well. With a song on his lips or a lesson in his actions, Randy is a man of many talents, including breaking horses, reciting poetry at gatherings across the west, and braiding reatas (ropes). In this particular photo, he was waiting for more cattle to be brought his way for sorting (to be loaded and transported to another ranch).

When go you outside the border of things and do things a little bit daring, Nature sometimes has the most wonderful suprises. Like when I stuck my head inside a Prikley Pear Blossum, this one very content Bumblebee had it all to himselve. I love Macro you get to see more of what you normally would not normally see with the naked eye. If you look closely you can see all the Bumblebees apendages and the pollen on him. He was so content he was blissfully unaware I was there with my camera, but I was not going to push my luck, took my photo and left him too his business. Photo taken bu Canon IXUS
