Once “Elements of Burberry” (as named on this site!), it has made a miraculous transformation into “Weaving Light”. I like it better now. Though I love to paint layers and layers…so we’ll see! Again!
Melbourne has a fascinating and marvelous mix of Victorian and contemporary architecture, and I love juxtaposition. I have never considered myself an architectural/structures photgrapher, but of late I seem to have started capturing images of this type. This one is one of my favourites, not only because of the juxtaposition, the color and the composition, but also because it was one of the best images I caught during a wonderful afternoon spent photographing with two very wonderful friends, and it is one of the first RAW images I edited in a decent package (ACDSee Pro 2).

The only comment I am ready to share with you the meaning of this story about is: “No comments”. After making a version of this picture # 12, I stopped counting. Here is the result, but… I am still not sure, if this is the final one… The composition easily leads you eyes to original realm of the small part of the world and gifted your with inside beauty of a nature. This colorful work is a welcome addition to living or working space of any kind. The art is healing, and especially art of such a kind. This painting will do more than just uniquely decorate your space. It will help you eliminate subtle dysfunctions in your health and improve your mood on a constant basis.

April 31st like February 30th, or pink elephants… It just never happened. But if to make an assumption, that is exactly how it would looks like. Don’t you believe me?.. Sorry, but this is the whole and entire truth. Dated at April 31st, at least… The composition easily leads you eyes to original realm of the small part of the world and gifted your with inside beauty of a nature. An original modern Tile Art canvas by contemporary artist Mark Lawrence of Alpharetta, Georgia . The Tile Art technique is similar to the grid technique pioneered by modern artist Chuck Close. Each of the “tiles” in this work have been meticulously colored in a distinctive method created by the artist. The result is a fine art masterpiece of wonderful depth and mystery; described by one collector as a mirror into heaven itself that draws the spirit calmly inward. Mark Lawrence, Tile Art #12, 2008. Hand worked digital mixed media on canvas, 38×38 inches. Copyright © 2008 by Mark Lawrence. All Rights Reserved.
