This wall-hanging was made using coconut husks, corn, green-painted lentils, shellgrit, sun-bleached seaweed, sticks, casuarina (She oak) seed pods and Linament tree seed pods. It was then varnished. / Featured on ‘Creative spirits of Queensland’.

I thought that the shape of this lily looked like white wings engulfing the stamen…lol…or maybe I’m just tired…. This lily was taken in our garden announcing the arrival of spring, around the corner. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and 35-70mm lens.
