  • My fisherman some other morning. / I have permission from Lego to show this artwork.

  • This is where you begin to walk around Dove Lake at Cradle Mountain, in Tasmania, Australia. Cradle Mountain forms the northern end of the wild Cradle Mt – Lake St Clair National Park, itself a part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. A blue filter in PS was used to enhance the blueness. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, in summer. This shot was featured in the Focus and Lighting Group.

  • These old carts were taken at Kaiwarra, near Seal Bay on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. There is some history behind them, but I can’t find any information online, to give to you….sorry. This is an HDR shot taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and tripod. I merged 3 images with Photomatix Pro and tone mapping.

  • This reflection of a bridge was taken at the lake, Alfred Nicholas Gardens, the Dandenongs, Victoria, Australia, in spring (hence why it is so green). These wooden bridges have since been replaced with new ones (which aren’t as nice). This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera.

  • Kisimul Castle is a small medieval castle located in the centre of Castlebay on Barra, an island of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. / The earliest documentary record of Kisimul Castle dates from the mid 16th century. The castle is completely surrounded by water and has never fallen to an enemy. The name of the castle comes from the Gaelic words cios (tax) and mul (mound). / In 2001 the castle was leased by the chief of Clan MacNeil to Historic Scotland for 1000 years for the annual sum of £1 and a bottle of whisky.   • This gum tree was taken at La Trobe University at Beechworth, Victoria, Australia, in autumn. There was some fog around too. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and 18-55mm lens.

  • A series of organic, earthy, original paintings meant to be displayed together, or hung in groups of 2 or 3 or alone. These paintings were created all together and represent a feeling of earthy elements, organic compositions and natural, earthy colors. Paint layering process is used in these paintings to create many layers and depths of texture. This particular painting “Organic Elements” Series II is a subdued feeling with earthy colors of teal, patina, golds, greens and blues.

  • These brilliant autumnal colours were found lining Ford street, outside Beechworth Gaol (which is no longer used). The Beechworth Gaol, Victoria, Australia, was finished in 1860. Ned Kelly is probably the most famous bush ranger connected with Beechworth. Early records show in 1870, Ned aged 16, stood trial on a minor charge and served six months at Beechworth Gaol. In 1878 his mother, son-in-law Skillon and another man were arrested and placed in jail pending trial for attempted murder of Constable Fitzpatrick. She was given three years hard labour, considered by some to be extremely harsh. This was featured in ‘A Garden Somewhere…’ Group and ‘Which Way’ Group. / This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and 18-55 mm lens.
