  • Like many, i’ve been fascinated by dragons and dragon stories for a long time. I like the concept of the dragon as the all seeing, all powerful, wise old observer, watching the external chaos from a far – reluctant to become involved, yet at the same time, unable to allow evil take hold. This illustration was painted in photoshop, based off a hand sketch that i drew a few months earlier.

  • It’s absolutely mind-boggling to look at the diversity, the complexity, and the breathtaking beauty of nature. With a phrase borrowed from the great hymn, when I consider all God has made, I should drop to my knees in awe and gratitude before His Majesty. This image began as a shot of an exotic butterfly in an exhibit, and with some work in PhotoShop emerged into my humble rendition of one of the zillions of miracles that come to us from the mind and heart of God.

  • Consider the lillies, they don’t toil nor spin… / And there’s not a king, with more splendor than them. / Consider the sparrows, they don’t plant nor sew… / But they’re fed by the Master, who watches them grow. / Consider the Lillies…And then you will know. =) A portion borrowed from a song entitled “Consider The Lillies”

  • This work is pieced together, like a quilt, from discarded materials and household objects discovered in piles of junk and urban debris left on nature strips around my suburb. As a result of urban “progress”, suburbs around me are characterized by these piles which contain unwanted relics and fragments of the past. The structural nature of planned urban sprawl is echoed in the grid-like format of the quilt. Just as suburbia imposes an order upon nature, the predefined spaces in my artwork impose order on rejected and discarded materials. Materials: found objects and recycled materials, wood, plastic, metal, fibre, stone, glass, ceramic Size: 100cmx 100cm

  • Don’t Worry….Consider The Lilies Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? / / So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?’ or “What shall we drink?’ or “What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. / Matthew 6

  • Oil over Acrylic on Linen / 1220×606mm The very talented photographer Ronald Rockman graciously granted me permission to paint from his incredible image no where man . / I have used much texture under the oils- piped and palette knifed on, providing a linear counterpoint to the ironic disenchantment etched on this mans face, and echoed in the palette knife finishing textures in the hair. / Have to let it dry now so I can sign it!

  • For hot-headed redheads. / Note: my signature does not appear on the product—merely on this website image in the large view. Safe and secure checkout featuring 128-bit SSL encryption. / / Sold, with reports that the t-shirt quality is excellent. Thank you!

  • Puppy is thinking about what the next mischief will be!

  • Psalm 8:3 is a wonderful springboard for prayer and praise. “When I consider the work of Your fingers,” the Psalmist writes, and we can take it from there. The Grand Canyon. A bolt of lightning. The peal of thunder. A flower petal. A snowflake. A dewdrop. A cascading waterfall. A baby lamb in spring. A bright red cardinal. . . The signs are everywhere. The Divine Artist has left an endless trail of hints that lead straight to His workshop. How blessed we are! How loved!

  • A surreal-esque piece, this conceptualizes the process of self-reflection and the distortions of thinking we experience.
