Connect….with the fragile beauty of nature…..with the fragile beauty of a human soul…..just reach out and connect…..... framing suggestions / /
Emotions Resist them, and they will destroy you. / Wallow in them, and they will drown you…. / BEcome them and they will rule you. Yet these are the radio waves between the inner core of your being and the All There Is…a link between your knowing and not knowing…… an elusive clue to your many questions. Acknowledge them and they will speak to you. / Feel them, and they will guide you… / Honour them, and they will reveal the deepest truths of your existence.
/ Framed – off white matt in walnut boxed frame / / Greeting Card Magic Elephant is a pencil drawing on A3 Cartridge paper (acid free) which I’ve altered slightly digitally, adding some sepia and pastel flourishes, along with an overlay. The Magic Elephant is another of my latest works in the “Connecting” series, i hope you like her….thank you for looking :) / Looked like this before I coloured it digitally
Morning Light World English Bible / Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. From the ‘Connection Series’, this is a pencil drawing, coloured with aquacolour crayons on paper… i have played around with this quite a bit in photoshop also, applying layers and more colour to enrich the overall look When i ponder this, it gives me a feeling of hope, like after the mourning, there is morning and the sun comes out again….. It’s all about our connection with nature and other lofty things :)
/ / nurture / The act of nourishing or nursing; tender care; education; training; That which nourishes; food; diet; The environmental influences that contribute to the development of an individual; see also nature; to nourish or nurse / en.wiktionary.org/wiki/nurture Media – pencil and photoshop / Substrate – paper I can’t explain this, ‘cept to say, it’s inspired by our connection with nature and the fragility of life itself sometimes, the message coming through is to nurture life by way of fostering goodwill toward one another and accepting we have a duty of care to our natural world also. Because Easter is approaching I thought it appropriate :) The child’s sustenance, or umbilical cord if you like is coming from a tree, symbolic of the healing that nature can bring….the new life and growth that comes with nurture both of spirit and of nature. Humility is understanding our rightful place in the scheme of all things, including nature, family structure and the wider community…... a world where there is tolerance for all, is the one i pray for
Location: Naher el Kaleb, Lebanon
/ Media – pencil, charcoal, pastel, watercolour pencils, photoshop / Substrate – paper The young lady is The Bird Whisperer, she holds a small injured bird in her gloved hands….. his wing is broken from a fall he suffered when attacked by a larger bird….as the little birds are considered prey…..but he will be okay now he is in the care of ‘The Bird Whisperer’......she is gentle and kind and knows how to heal the little bird’s wing so that he will fly again From the “Connections” Series of new pencil drawings that reveal the connection between ourselves, each other and nature, I hope you like, thank you for looking ;)

As we all start to gear up for the holiday season – it does rush in upon us – it is easy to get overwhelmed by stuff. The objects of our lives are important. They provide comfort, inspiration, memories, humour and even insight. But around and through them are our friends and families and all the other people who we share this human journey with. One of the common themes on RedBubble is that many people originally join to sell things but over time than the community and friendships become even more important. There are always lots of things happening in the community. If you are just getting started on RedBubble one of the easiest ways to meet people is to check out the groups and find a group that interests you. It may be a group from your local area or some sort of art/design that interests you. There is always a lot going on in the groups. Just some examples that I am aware of right now: The Art of the Middle East is running a challenge for art on a religious themes Sydney Group member bodymechanic is coordinating a group exhibition for 2009. Actually, Sydney bubblers are exhibiting right now too! The Photography 101 group is always active with advice and currently has three interesting challenges underway T-Shirt Revolution is changing the world one T at t time Don’t have much to say but want to say it well then try your hand at Flash Fiction And if you love the smell of paint on your hands then Painters in Modern Times is there for you with lots of things underway. If you can’t find a group from your area or want to start a group for a specific purpose then you can just follow the instructions here. Aside from the groups the more general forums are there. You will find advice on Equipment, help with Sales and Marketing, a Learning Centre and of course General Discussion. Finally, the easiest way to get to meet folks is to make comments on works or introduce yourself (via Bubblemail) and before long you will have a steady stream of interesting work turning up in your My Bubble to consider. We all like to get comments and Bubblemails so don’t be shy. Martin (aka Pilgrim)
A combination of 23 different images, some photographs taken by myself, some are stock images from sxc.hu and a 3D render using Daz Studio. / / Nature and life – we are all connected under the realm of Mother Earth. The volcanoes prime and adjust our atmosphere and earth provides all the buliding blocks to support life on the planet. We are all carbon, and hence the flow of carbon is what keeps it all ticking away. Disturb the balance, disturb life? / / My first image submission for the Gaia group. / / Hope you like it.
Fourteen photos were used in this photo manipulation, and it took seven hours to create. With this piece, I wanted to create something elegant but also meaningful. There are connections between all things in our lives. Our parents and ancestors connect us to other people. Our regions, schools, clubs, workplaces and even Internet groups connect us to others. Life connects us to one world, death to another. One day, we will be dust. We are connected, rooted, to these and many other parts of our existence. ~When I was child…. / I stood on the same dock / breathing in the same air / feeling the same glorious spirit / calling me, guiding me / setting my insides on fire / seeding a passion for the tremendous beauty of this life / bursting from my veins. / And now here she is / and there she goes / her journey begins…….. / Alone with her thoughts / embracing the energy of such sacred ground. / Not sure of what it is stirring within her….. / But knowing / it is powerful. / Not knowing / it will carry her thru her life. / I watch her, watch me. / And I think to myself…. / what does she see? / Is it the beautiful me / or the tormented me? / So full of wisdom / so beyond her years / a soul that is soaring / toward a life / I know all too well. / Oh baby… / some people will never care / but you always will… / For her enormous compassion is not of this world. / She has this connection / with all those around her / as she draws them in / and casts her spell. / My beautiful girl…….mine for just a time. / Those sweet voices are calling her…I remember. / She has found her wings / her journey has begun…….... / It will be beyond all she can imagine……... / I want to tell her to hold on tight, / but I know / this is her dance, her path, her amazing, / amazing / life. / Fly baby girl. / Soar high above it all….
Many Native American Medicine Society’s, in almost every tribe consisted of a society of women, or bringers of the rain that nurtures the abundance of their food sources. The Three Sisters ~ corn, beans and squash fed many tribal peoples as a regular staple when game, fish and other crops were not plentiful. The WhirlWind Buffalo Sisterhood began just before Miracle, the white buffalo calf was born in Wisconsin, on August 20, 1994. A rainbow culture promising peace among all nations and all people, stressing equality and opposing any superior race that controls or conquers other peoples. The Unity of all colors, all creeds, all beliefs, working together for the good of the whole and when all pathways to wholeness are respected by all cultures, the prophesy of the Whirling Rainbow will be completed. When the time of the White Buffalo, the third generation of White eyes children will grow their hair and speak of love as the healer of the Children of the Earth. These children will seek new ways of understanding themselves and others. They will wear feathers and beads and paint their faces. They will seek the Elders of the Red Race and drink of their wisdom. These white-eyes will be a sign that the ancestors are returning in white bodies, but they are red on the inside. They will learn to walk the Earth Mother in balance again and reform the ideas of the white chiefs. These children will be tested as they were when they were Red ancestors by unnatural substances, like firewater, to see if they can remain on the Sacred Path. After the time when the buffalo returned, the generation following the Flower Children would see the dawning of the Fifth World of Peace. Appearing to those who see, would be a Sun Dog, or full rainbow circle around the Sun that has bright white lights at the Four Directions, a rare natural phenomena. Enough of the Earth Children will be awakened to carry the responsibility of the teachings and the healing process will begin in full swing. Many will remember their “purpose” for being here on Earth and will develop their gifts to assist humanity. Truth will shatter the bonds of separation and goodness will prevail with tolerance, acceptance and understanding. The WhirlWind Buffalo Sisterhood has consistently sought knowledge that changes lies to truths, that have made us mistrust one another and replace the illusion of separation with the truth of UNITY. In non-violence and peaceful energetic, teach that a worthy opponent will present lessons to make us grow beyond any high drama and into a sense of unity within Self, to then share with others remembering that any challenges to unity are equal to our ability to overcome them. The buffalo symbolized not only the strength of the Whirlwind, but also prosperity and abundance ~ the past 15 years, since Miracles’ birth ~ the Tribe of All Nations has been gathering physically, mentally, emotionally, tribally, socially, morally and spiritually all over the world, even more so with cyber-space communications. Can you deeply, completely and profoundly accept yourself and others with all the faults, problems and limitations, as well as the gifts, strengths and ability to love? / ©tkrosevear~WindOwl Mandala sketch photographed, painted, edited and merged with Buffalo photograph in photoshop7 with final editing in redfield plug-in fractilius. The moon this evening, shone through my being / withdraws my unsettled heart and danced with it, / the colors surrounded my spirit and swept me / towards the stars, embracing me with space… / The time passes with my earthly body, as minutes / yet my spirit soars for hours and my heart dances for days. / The earth draws me near, her strength pulls my spirit / and a force thrusts my heart, as my energy shines through. / TKRosevear 1992 Almost Full Moon
The Green Man is an ancient pagan symbol of our relationship to the plant kingdom. Men become tree-like, and the Green Man sports plants and leaves and boughs growing from his mouth or beard or his hair. / In the Green Man we have an archetype for our relationship to both the cosmos and the Earth – to Father Sky and Mother Earth. Plants are born from and connect the two. Plants are, like us, cosmic beings; they guarantee that the sun’s generous efforts to pour its energy over the earth are not in vain. The Sun finds ready receptivity in the plants. / Interestingly, the archetype of the Green Man also respects silence and introspection, which are common traits among farmers and indigenous peoples, those who remain close to the land. The Green Man honors for us how rich and deep the roots of nature are, telling us that we need to germinate under the soil, in the silence of our hearts. This is a painting I did for a T-shirt design, then fractilius filtered with redfield plug-ins, in photoshop7 Celtic Spirit
I will take your photo then leave.
This is based on a real project by a Japanese photographer. The concept has always intrigued me, voyeur that I am at heart – as most writers are, I think. We all get connection any way we can, after all.

Oil on canvas, 2006. 1000×1000mm / Original $880 +p&p In this painting I am exploring a connection with pure energy and the journey which that entails. It is also, however, speaking of a particular moment on that journey – the moment in which the essence that we all share is transforming. It is a fusion and transmutation of all the elements … fire turning to water, air turning to earth. This could be a small moment or a momentous one – but at that point the entire Universe is at play. Finished in the Top 10 of Elemental challenge

As I finished this work this morning, I was soon reminded that my path must be sacred and true, as I witnessed 4 Bald Eagles and 2 Golden Eagles sitting along the river treeline, never since we’ve been here have I seen a grouping like this together. My body was tingling from head to toe and I got so caught up in the beauty, I could only take a few photographs (which I’ll share soon). / In Northern America, the Eagle was considered great medicine power. To the Native Americans there were different kinds and divisions of Eagles. The Golden Eagle had a very high rank. The most potent and magical was the Sky Eagle which the Iroquois called Shadahgeyah. Among the Hopi, the Eagle god was called Kwahu and according to their legends, this great bird seldom came below the clouds; only the holiest of Shamans ever saw it. Even the Aztecs said this bird represented celestial power and the rising Sun. / As a Solar Eclipse approaches with the Chinese New Year on 1/26/09, the thought behind this Mandala becomes more clear…”We Are ALL One Tribe” Rainbow Hoop Created with Wacom Graphic pad/pen and enhanced with Redfield plug-in fractilius filter and photoshop7
