19×25 pastel on Sennelier La Carte paper FEATURED IN C.O.R.E., FRIENDS OF RED BUBBLE, FIRST THINGS, THE PATCHWORK, AND THE SISTERHOOD / She has been sitting on my easel for the longest time. I finally got inspired to finish her. I made her a lot bigger than the others in the series, so that should appease her for me taking so long on her. / She is the Spirit of the North Wind. It is the wind of Winter and of death, but also of rebirth. She gives us the wisdom to overcome death and to know it is not the end. We must walk through the Northern gate at the end of this life and she will be the one to usher us through. Listen to cold Winter wind, and let her help you release your fears into the darkness of the night. Also from the Series

Every one loves an icecream cone! But would you lick an EyeScream Cone? This image was constructed useing extreame macros of eyes (balls) from family members. Each of the eyes was removed from the eye sockets and stuck in a screaming cone! Here’s looking at you! Sold this t shirt to a mystery buyer. No comment not a member, not anyone I know (I have also sold a couple to family members as well!)

In Great Basin National Park in Nevada you can take a short hike to these pine trees. We got there as the sun set and time was short, but I liked this one.

The old Shot Tower and new Glass Cone at Melbourne Central shopping centre. The Coops Shot Tower was built in 1890 and was incorporated into the development of the new shopping complex, which was completed in 1990. It is now the feature of the central court, with a huge glass and steel cone to highlight it. I have always found the contrast between the two styles of architecture intriguing. It’s something i have wanted to photograph for a very long time. Featured in Art Of Glass This image has not been enhanced edited or changed in any way. Death Valley National Park, USA / / The Ubehebe Crater system contains several volcanic craters, cinder cones and ash hills, all resulting from an explosive steam eruption approx. 2,000 years ago, when rising magma met an underground lake. Ubehebe is by far the largest crater, 2,400 feet in diameter and 500 feet deep and presents a very colorful spectacle with variegated, buckled strata around its sides and grey-black ash on the rim. A slippery climb with an awesome view !
