Part of a short series of images taken in an authentic and derelict church manse in Glebe, Sydney. It was located on the same piece of land as the original Church (which was also disused). These shots were taken during two visits – the second and last visit spooked me so much – I’ll not be going back…this stairwell was just so rivetting. The colours here are the existing tones in the original image with some slight enhancement.

The old Bugle Ranges school house in the Adelaide Hills.
On the receiving end of an octobull…
Amen…
Found this at an old abandoned (and condemned) farmhouse. Featured in Abandoned Dark and Creepy group.

Shannon Wilson, 6, wipes her hands dry after brushing her teeth in the morning. Her mother, Linda Wilson, says despite complaints to the landlord concerning the condition of the only bathroom in the house, shared by three adults and four children, the floor remains rotten, the bathtub takes hours to drain, and the sink doesn’t drain at all. Other major problems exist throughout the house.

Another shot of the old Bugle Ranges school house. / This is looking into the room where the Teacher would have stayed when this old school was in use. Now it is overgrown but it appears even the plants want to get out of school!
A collection of photos of my interpretation of the famous Dog Rocks. I hope you like it, thanks for viewing.
The condemned walkway to Brighton’s West Pier and the pillars which used to support it before it was burnt down. The walkway has mostly collapsed, leaving just that remaining part which goes a few meters out to sea before ended abruptly, hence the barbed wire to stop people climbing onto it. My neighbourhood is one of the oldest parts of Wellington, full of wooden houses like this one. Sitting on hillsides among the trees, they’ve bent and swayed to storms and earthquakes for over 100 years. After two weeks of heavy rain, this old villa succumbed to the forces of nature when a slip undermined its foundations.
Linda Wilson pushes a cart to the back door of the house to load her belongings after Prince William County Department of Public Works officials gave notice of condemnation and ordered the family out. A week later, the family is struggling to find a place to store their belongings, locate a home for their pet dog and cat, and find shelter for themselves. “We put no trespassing signs up hoping nobody will come into the house and take our stuff,” Wilson said.
Shannon preoccupies herself in a mirror, while the adults discuss their game plan for finding a place to live.
Sawatzke’s boyfriend, Ray Thomas, plays a favorite game with his 3-year-old daughter, Summer. He worries about the dangers of having the gas hot water heater located in the open in their small kitchen. “We tell the kids not to touch the gas controls, but we still worry they could get hurt,” he said.
