I finally got to paint this from my digital manipulation, Don’t Give Up Searching . I’m so pleased with the result. I used a few different textures and oil paint and made the eye brown rather then blue so that the image was unified in pallet to suit a college project so that I could paint this particular piece without abandoning duty.

I don’t believe any one religion can own God or contain the concept of god. Also I considered calling it “what concepts are you feeding your children?” OR “you can’t fit god in a box.”) OR ” Think outside the box that is where God is!” I painted every religion and religous concept I could think of as a cereal and was making light of the ownership aspect of religion and how they all claim to be the best..I thought the coupon Idea would express that rich or poor makes no difference to the understanding or digestion of the concept of GOD. oil painting / __________ / THE STUFF BELOW IS JUST PERSONAL VIEW NO NEED TO READ. My purpose was to hope that this image would help people be less / fanatical and arrogant about thier religions concepts and programming. God is not a brand name seemed the best. My personal view on it,.... not that anyone should care or value it. / is that all religons are very Ltd. in their view of God like everyone / sees childs personality differently depending on how the child / behaved at the moment with them in thier Ltd. experience with the / child. This person thinks the child is quiet and thoughtful that one / thinks the child is a hyper little terror after eating sugar. That one / thinks the child helpfull and mature. Thats what religions do, try to quantify God and claim superior / understanding and closeness to God. Well why not try to connect / with God yourself why take everyone elses word for it. On another note if any one wonders… I was raised Christian and read / about many religions and tend to be swayed more toward the / Shamanic view. That everyone and everything is holy and when / you work in harmony with all you work in harmony with God. Also / God is in and through all things. Everything has personality and / soul and reflects that portion of God and Gods creation. Maybe evolution / is correct maybe not. Does it matter if God is everything including / evolution. if God is science, people, animals, and planets, everthing, then does God exist to an athiest who must see God to believe, and can’t have god for breakfast, so there is no god. Like I don’t see electricty but I see the result. he/she doesn’t get he /she is God (or part of) I see / the evidence communicate with angels, trees, rocks, and all things and / they communicate back to me intelligently. If people tune in it can be / the same for them a direct knowing no need to speek to God through / the middle men ( priests, ministers and middle men.) I’m in no way telling anyone what to believe or to change thier belief / if it is working for them. I’m expressing a personal experience and / view of the child (God) and putting forth (pun INTENDED) FOOD / FOR THOUGHT (cereal LOL). I wish you enlightenment , happiness / fullfillment in whatever your spiritual beliefs are and hope that all / beleifs will lead to God by whatever names you choose to use. / Peace to you all. /

This is a speed painting in Photoshop. I felt really inspired after watching the new Iron Man movie and decided to finally have a go at speed painting. I had an image open to one side and painted on an A4 canvas in Photoshop. It was created using textured brushes at low opacities, building up to the final image.
