Tzadik ( “righteous one;” pl. tzadikim) is a title which is generally given to those who are considered to be righteous such as a spiritual master or rebbe. The root of the word tzadik, is tzedek , which means justice or righteousness. This term thus refers to one who acts righteously. In classic Jewish thought, the true title of tzadik can only be applied to one who not only never sins, but also has eradicated any inclination to do so. The Talmud says that at least 36 Tzadikim Nistarim - anonymous tzadikim - are living among us at all times; they are anonymous, and it is for their sake alone that the world is not destroyed. The Talmud and the Kabbalah offer various ideas about the nature and role of these 36 tzadikim. The image was taken in the Wstern Wall Jerusalem. / Passover April 22 2008.

This is a picture of my oldest and youngest child. We were in the yard one day and they were playing with coconuts. I love candid shots, so I was in the distance snapping pictures. Out of the blue, he bent down and kissed her on the head. It was the cutest thing and such a rare occurance now that he has reached that pre-teen stage in life. Featured on homepage. A Parents Prayer for their sick child. / (2 Samuel 12:22) David answered: While he was still alive, I went without food and cried because there was still hope. I said to myself, “Who knows? Maybe the LORD will have pity on me and let the child live.” I am an Irish born Missionary living in London I spend much time living with the Kambari tribe, I get to know first hand the challenges they face each day just to survive. I also have the privilege of capturing not only hunger, sickness and often death, but the more happy occasions. This is Grace, and when I first met Grace in April 2007, she was suffering from Chronic Malnutrition, adn intestinal worm infection. This was taken in December 2007, and the difference in 2009 is wonderful. Thank you to all who prayed and donated towards saving Grace. Please do Pray for these precious suffering people in extreme poverty and for us as we press on in our mission to help them. I believe in the power of Prayer and a mighty God. [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help? When I saw this prayer, written by an unknown author, at the Carmelite monastery where I do volunteer work, I knew I had to incorporate it into an image and offer its consoling words to those who are suffering from Alzheimer’s as well as to family, friends, and medical personnel who care for those afflicted with this disease. I chose an image of a cloud-filled sky as the sun was setting because those with Alzheimer’s are largely in the sunset of their lives and have to contend with many issues that cloud their lives. Prayer for an Alzheimer’s Sufferer Please grant my visitors tolerance for my confusion, / Forgiveness for my irrationality, / and the strength to walk with me / Into the mist of memory my world has become. Please let them take my hand and stay awhile / Even though I seem unaware of their presence. / Help them to know how their strength and loving care / Will drift slowly into the days to come / Just when I need it most. Let them know when I don’t recognize them / that I will . . . I will. / Keep their hearts free from sorrow for me / For my sorrow when it comes only lasts a moment – / then it’s gone. And finally please let them know / how very much their visits mean, / How, even through this relentless mystery, / I can still feel the love. Amen

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. [AS IS} / I am a missionary, born in Northern Ireland and living in London. my passion in life is to help the poor in rural and isolated villages in Africa and India. Abhijeet in Hindu language means “one who is victorious, a star”. She certainly lives up to her name. 3 years old and already has faced abuse, and hunger. She was close to death and in much pain. Abijeet is one child we rescued through The INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION, based in India. Her smile melted my heart and as I was told her story I could not help give God thanks for the few Indian Christians that reached out to her. With little money, they took her into the Orphanage, where now she is cared for. I now have sponsored Abijeet and for only £10 per month, she is fed, clothed and will attend a full education when she is old enough. I do not get financial funding from any Church, My own income is little. But I made my mind up a long time ago to share what God has blessed me with with the poor. I have not gone hungry, nor my family. I rent my home, and drive a car. My children are all educated and blessed by God. I have lacked nothing,because blesses the sower. Gods burning Love and Passion for the outcast and poor burns deep within my heart, and hopefully can be seen throgh my life and camera lens. Abijeet is a shining star and a true testimony of what Love and sharing can do. Please Pray for me, that I can bless many more suffering children like Abijeet. Strengthen my arm in Gods mission to reach the hurting of this world with his love and care. Pray and do what the Lord lays on your heart. You will become richer for it. http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Jyotika in Hindi means [light] Jyotika is from the NARIK_KAR_AVARS gypsy tribe and lives in a Gypsy camp on the outskirts of Kallakapurom town. India. she has never gone to school because her parents cannot afford the school fees, uniform and text book. It costs £70 = $130 to cover a whole years education. These gypsy people are descendants of the Romany Gypsies. But here in India They are Classed as the outcast and Untouchables by Hindu religion. They live in camps where there is no clean water, Little food and no Sanitation. They have no land, little possessions and live in make shift houses and tents made from sticks and plastic sheets. Each day they make one of bead necklace and only get around £0.15 or $0.30. this is not enough to feed their family well, and there is nothing left for education or medical care. They are chased from towns and even hospital. Jyotika can however go to school and have a great future. Our Partner organisation based in Kallakurachi India, is the only organisation working with these NARI _KAR_AVARS, except Our partner, THE INDIAN NEW LIFE MISSION. We run a Children Boarding home, where we take disadvantaged children with parents consent and Provide accommodation, Education, Food and clothing. They Children return to the camps during Holidays. In this one camp 52 children suffer from Intestinal worm infection, adn te death rate is very high. This is due to lack of clean water. The is Akuti an Indian gypsy girl aged 11 years old.. Her name means princess and she really is a Gypsy princess. but she like almost all Nara_Kar-Avars gypsy children are treated with contempt, rejection and denied even the basics of life. To be born a gypsy means under Hindu religion to be in the lowest cast system. Known as outcasts and treated as untouchables, Akuti and many millions like her face a life with little hope. She has never gone to school as her parents barely earn enough to feed her, and cannot afford the £70-$130 per year they need for school fees, uniform and text books. My passion and mission in life is to not just Pray and preach to these precious people, but to provide clothing, and the cost of school fees, medical care and provide tools to help them. Philadelphia Mission is a small underfunded, yet effective British charity doing just that in India and Africa. We need you my friend to help us do much more. Become part of this mission today. I am a missionary and was born in Northern Ireland and now live in London. My passion and inspiration to work and help these precious poor is born from my personal relationship with God. his love and mercy changed my life completely in 1986. 50 of the 64 children from this village have never gone to school. Mary is 12 years old and she cares for her younger brother. She never has gone to school like most in Tunga/Zuga village. I called this photograph “what If”. What if someone paid the £70 -$120. per year for her school fees, uniform and text books?. What if someone wanted to give Mary a future where she could learn to read, write, and what if Mary learned skills that would earn her money and she could help her younger brother also to go to school? / What if Mary had the change to be what she wants to be, a Nurse? Man has conquered space, gone to the depths of the ocean, found cures for diseases, but still we have not learned how to respect mankind. / We have acquired knowledge, skills, expertise, but still have not leaned the true meaning of understanding. / We have acquired wealth, but still have not learned how to share. / We have achieved great things, but still have not learned to be compassionate. / We give in order to get, instead of giving because we care. / We turn a blind eye to injustice, when we should be standing up for what is right. / We dwell on the past instead of looking to the future, which is something that we can change. / We blame today’s generation for what happened in the past, instead of uniting to make things better for all. / We incite instead of exciting. / We blame others for our own inability to do better, be better. / It is often better to walk away than to fight. / There are no excuses when the playing fields of life are level. / I remember getting angry at a wedding when the minister said to the bridal couple that marriage meant sacrificing….. if marriage meant you have to sacrifice….. why get married? / Of all the credo’s, verses, sayings, quotes, one should stand out…............. ‘Respect others’. It’s as easy as that…..................................

having a relationship with someone with mental illness can be very taxing. This is just a vent on being the one trying to interact with the one suffering from depression and/or bi-polar disorder. / It is so hard trying to balance the want to be with someone who is not there much of them time…wanting to love them, wanting them there...and the plain, hard fact that they cannot be alot of the time due to their illness – medication or not.
