Well, I did (before I shed the shackles of the day job and became a freelancer at least!) and that’s what inspired this painting – commuters on the top deck, always curious to see who’s entering their domain.

  • Three men sleeping on the train between Tokyo and Yokohama.

  • Image was taken in Washington DC, at one of the many Metro stations. I love the contrast between items in motion and the stationary objects. Processed with Redynamix to give it a slight HDR feel. Taken with Nikon D50 and Nikkor 18-70mm lens.

  • Euston station, and the aqpproach to was one of the highlights of my visit as I was staying in Bloomsbury. I found it exciting to watch a train come in, the doors open, and people pile out. The construction of the building with its ceiling lines was fantastic. / The taxis waiting in line beside the platform showed forward thinking.

Taken with Nikon D200 and Nikkor 24-120mm lens. This image is currently on display at the Walls Fine Art gallery in Downtown Norfolk, VA. /
