The 2008 Australian Canoe Polo Championships were conducted 21-23 March on the Maribyrnong River in Essendon, Melbourne, Australia. Competing teams in this Grand Final match are Victoria 1 and South Australia 2. South Australia defeated Victoria in the Open section. Article and photos here

While my hubby and I were out getting hot subs and soup on a cold snowy night I got this wonderful shot of this sign advertising our prestigious Great Lakes Brewery here in North Ohio- The home of several wonderful cold draft beers and wineries. It seems a nice warm feeling while sitting in the car waiting for the subs to get toasted! MMMMMmmmmmm! You can see the snow flakes on the window. As Is.
While entering Captains Bay in Dutch Harbor, Alaska you can start to see the Westward Seafood plant at the base of the mountains. I love the summer when the plants covering the mountainsides looks as if they were covered in green velvet!

This is a photograph of a bag of yellowfin sole that came aboard the fishing vessel that I work on in the Bering Sea, Alaska. The fish that we catch are offloaded in the Port of Dutch Harbor, Alaska to be offloaded to trampers that deliver the fish around the globe.
