Always the same routine: / Progressive barndance and one or two other simple progressive dances, to get them mixing; talking, relaxing.
I have this theory that, when I became a teenager, I adopted this other family, the Potters, like most teenagers do, spreading wings and seeing how other families do things. / / Waiting outside Potter’s Dance Studio for the children’s class. / (Freckles and reddish hair. Could never resist.)
Gozo seen from Comino. / Malta ——- / In August I was again to Malta and I have to say that I had great time… in spite of problems with some dust on a camera sensor (I forgot to clean this before leaving for holiday), dropping my macro lens :cries: and a close meeting with a jellyfish (medusa) that after coming back to Poland turned into a very serious burn. The lens is spoilt but I hope it could be fixed. And I hope that the scar from medusa will disappear after some threatment. I stayed for a week on Comino. / There is only 1 hotel (amazing!) and the isle is known from The Blue Lagoon. In next days I will upload a few shots from Malta. Mostly sunset views as during a day it was too hot for walking so I enjoyed my time swimming :D

(pron. imjar ish sheeny). This tiny bay on the southern coast of the island of Gozo, Maltese archipelago, is now a popular spot for bathing and diving, and is used by fishermen too. In the middle ages it is reputed to have been used by the Knights of St. John to harbour their galleys. The tower was built in 1661 during the grandmastership of De Redin to guard this (then) very isolated spot. The land in the far background is the island of Malta, while that closer to the camera is the island of Comino. The two white Gozo Channel ferries are busy making their way to and from the two main islands… Pentax K10D.
There is a story behind… I stayed on Comino (one of Maltese islands) for a week in August. One evening I decided to go to the Blue Lagoon for sunset photos. I stopped a few times on the way so it was already after the sunset when I got there. It was on Sunday so during last 2 days there were lots of people visiting this place for sun-bathing and swimming. Almost all people left, there were a few boats only, and when I go to the place there were huge piles of rubbish. I suddenly discovered something more… hundreds of rats. With every step I was afraid to touch any of them. If these were spiders I would die ;) But rats rather fascinated me so I stopped, pointed my camera just above one of the rubbish piles. There were lights on Gozo in the background and when I saw a rat on the top then I pressed a shutter. Of course it always caused the creatures escape. So I had to wait patiently 1-2 minutes them to come back, to take another photo. I almost felt like a wild-life photographer ;) Unfotunatelly, although using a lens with f1/1.4 I had to set ISO to 1000 in order to achieve high shutter speed.

The fernandez is docked at The Sliema Ferries, and carries passengers across to Gozo, Comino and the beautiful natural harbour in Valletta. / The Captain of The Fernandez, Jimi, is my uncle. If you are ever in Malta don’t miss a cruise on this lovely vessal – you will enjoy it!
This little baby island, Comino, is situated between Malta and Gozo. There a handful of inhabitants on the island, but a day cruise and swim in the Blue Lagoon is easily done and very enjoyable too!!
