pastels on paper 130cms wide ish / I still have the original, though it is a popular piece. sometimes this makes no sense to me. Colchis is the island where Jason and the Argonauts found the Golden Fleece, which seemed appropriate and more original than Atlantis even though there are no visible sheep, fleecy or not. The cold kiss part I added later to the title as it fits in with the rest of this story… the cold kiss of fate: / I originally started this piece as a prelude for a much larger work that I was commissioned to do. I found a cool book of Roman ruins (um I just like ruins, no real other reason. Nice symbol of a crumbling society and decadence. Decadence actually means decay, it just got hijacked and somehow turned around by communists saying it and us interpreting it. Weird.) / Anyway it was a sketch for the giant oil piece that I did for a client and now stands on its own. Cool huh?

Southern Folklear this psinting featuring three tired ladies that work together very hard and staying link together after a hard day of cotton picking doing the early 50s. / it’s very popular in the Southern States and neatly crafted ,Oil on canvas, warm colors . People Art, southern feel. LINK-UP SISTAS, sends a strong message of lets link-up and work together, Univerisal. my personal opion one of the greatest paintings I’ve ever done , I did’nt have any commission Art or work until LAVON KIRKLAND of the Phittsburg Steelers saw the ideal for this painting it took me through the last quarter of 2007, and by the way I did all of Lavon’s Banners even doing the Super-Bowl when they played against Dallas, Title MAN IN THE MIDDLE # 99 WHICH WILL ALSO BE FEATURED ON THIS SITE.

Working with this wonderful model just inspired me and brought all those feelings up from my heart, bones and my most inner part. I loved every minutes of it and it gave me a wonderful peace of mind. An osprey flies toward a favorite dining spot with a rainbow trout for breakfast.
