  • How many times have you heard someone use the expression, time flys? People say this when they have too much to do and not enough time to do it in, or when they are having fun on holidays and they’re drawing to an end. An approaching birthday or the upcoming event or similar can also invoke the response. My artwork titled “Timeflies” is a quirky take on this saying by depicting Flies made into Clocks. I hope you and your friends enjoy this artwork.

  • Please View Large Myself and lesley met up with fellow Bubbler and good friend Jason Connolly and this was our meeting point. The bridge is named after the nearby village of Newby Bridge. Wikipedia © Newby Bridge is a small hamlet in the Lake District, Cumbria, although historically it was in Lancashire. Newby Bridge is located several miles west of Grange-over-Sands and is on the River Leven, close to the southern end of Windermere. The hamlet is the site of an intermediate halt on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. Whilst the main land use is sheep farming, tourism plays a significant part, with the Newby Bridge Caravan Park accommodating many guests each year.
