  • This handsome young page boy, thought he would just take a little time out from the formalities of being part of his Mothers wedding. He was so focussed on enjoying his lollipop that he was oblivious to the fact that he was being photographed yet again.

  • This is a shot I took at my sister’s wedding. She has this elephant pin, that was given to her by my grandmother, who sadly passed away before she could see Susan get married. To honour my grandmother, Susan wore this pin on the back of her dress, so that when anyone in my family saw it, they would realize that it was for my grandmother, and in a way it made it seem like my grandmother was there watching over her wedding. / The photograher that was taken her pictures, didn’t take any shots of that elephant, but I had to make sure I did, so my sister would always have this shot. I softened the edges, so that the focus was on the pin, and I desaturated the colours, again to draw the eye to the pin. Please look at full size to see details of the pin. I hope you like it. Thank you so much for viewing!! =)smile

  • the lovely pastel colours of the sweet sugared almonds is quite mouthwatering. I saw these lovely pastel sweets in a Boulangerie/Patisserie in one of the back roads of Paris – we were searching for somewhere to eat! They looked to lovely for their own good – but being a good girl I took a photo instead of buying them :) oh and the shop was closed!! This photo has been used as a wedding congratulations card and I added gift tags also! Featured October 28th ‘08 in Food for Thought Group Canon Ixusi zoom / 1/50 seconds / f/5.4 / 15mm / As Is
