Hosier Lane in Melbourne, Australia. A result of 9 images (3 HDR’s) done in Photomatix. Merged the HDR’s in photoshop using automate > Photomerge. Took the photos quick as it was around midnight and i was afraid of being beaten up. This work has been featured in the my Neighbourhood group and has had over 850 views. Music: Star Wars – Soundtrack This is a simple case of “Oh lets see if that is going to work out”. 5 exposures at 2EV difference. HDR Tone Mapping in Photomatix. No Photoshop. I thought the flare might come up nice after processing, but I never imagined it to be like this. I hope you like it.

This image was created at the Apollo Bay Docks early in 2008, went here for a holiday just as I was getting into Photography. I went down to the docks just as a storm was rolling in and it made for some interesting weather conditions! This pic was created from one raw file. I changed the exposures in Lightroom and then merged 3 images using Photomatix, increased the blue and green saturation levels in Lightroom and added a bit of contrast. This is the result! Went down to the old Monash Freeway for a few light trails shots at dusk just 2 minutes from my house. I’ve always wanted to get some really cool light trails shots and this I was real happy with :) After looking at a few I wanted to do something a bit different with it. HDR done in Photomatix and went for a Direct Positive look in AdobeLightroom. Exposures were 13 seconds, 3.2 seconds and 30 seconds f 7.1 at ISO 100. Click here for my other images of Melbourne

Another HDR shot from this morning….I just liked the way this tree stood on its own and was surrounded by the rocks at its base. Makes for a pleasing composition!
