Remember when you were a kid and played with a kaleidoscope you grandfather had given you? the delight and wonder of the images that played in front of your eye? fleeting and ever changing … I was captivated by my kaleidoscope as a child and I still am with the images that are never the same and never cease to amaze me. This is one of an endless series of Kaleidoscopes I have designed. This is an old scanned photo that I took many many years ago when the only camera I had was a Yashica TL Electro … a very basic manual SLR but I took some pretty good shots with it before I upgraded to Nikon and Minolta!

I shot these photos this morning in my garden, and inside. I plonked my adorable parrot “Dukie Duke” onto my fence because his colours looked like they really matched the lovely fall colour mix from my garden..;) I added that comma butterfly as well (I shot that photo earlier this year). ;)
