Acrylic on canvas / size 70cm x 101cm appROX. There is an old painting under this…I wont tell you what is was as it was only relevant to me as an under painting or starting point. / The hardest part of doing abstract work for me is to let go of the conscious mind and draw from those deeper places, working with the randomness of media and moulding thought and paint. This is a very different approach to painting what is in front of you and I reccomend it to any artist, wether your style is realism or not. Go on have a go! This is an abstraction of journey, the future, potential and questions of where we are going and what are we doing. / The answer is up to you. The original has now been sold in the 2009 Autumn exhibition of The Nottingham Society Of Artists .
