Sitting inside Hogans Pub on a nice Irish summers day with a small digital camera, the pocket type, with my wife, on our honeymoon in fact, having a few beers and pointing the camera out the window of the pub at a more or less fixed angle shooting whomsover happened along. These two guys turned out to be the most interesting if not most dangerous pair. Sure they are very nice. Taken in 2005 on a Digital Olympus Miu . A nice orange one.
This picture was taken the same day as Sunset on the Arno (Number 1).

Chinese female artists paint an extraordinay mountain view on Huang Shan, China’s most famous sacred mountain. Like the artist in my photograph ‘Eternal inspiration’, these women were totally absorbed in their work . Countless generations of Chinese artists have sought inspiration from the scenes like this and have produced art that has become synonymous with traditional Chinese landscape painting. Taken on ektachrome slide film in 1982.

This gave me an average number of views per image each time someone favourited it. / The lower the number the higher the popularity. I hope you enjoy and like it. Thanks for looking through my portfolio during 2009 and come back soon for more of my work.
What a wonderful view along Southwold shoreline and the Sea to the Horizon. Sitting in the far distance is Sizewell B power station. I spent a long time watching and trying to capture the sea mist from the rolling waves as the wind swept across the sea. I have converted it into B&W as it shows more of the energy and roughness of the day. Nikon D90 and Nikkor 18-105 vr Lans Focal length 105mm / F/. 25 / Exposure 1/125 sec / ISo 200 Hand Held, Aperture Priotiy, D-lighting may of been on, Converted in Efex Pro 3 into B&W and a touch ot tonal contrast.
