  • Red Bubble’s First Book /// In the Moment /// Overall Winner / I found myself in Geneva for a week for work last year. The only other time I had been to Switzerland was Zurich for 2 nights in the middle of winter, so I was kind of surprised by the beautiful (and hot!) summer weather I experienced on this visit. / The Lake at Geneva is where everyone goes to cool off and I was mesmerised watching all these crazy dudes doing amazing things off a high-dive on the edge of the lake. I took a few shots and managed to capture this moment among them. / I entered this work into the 2007 Linden Gallery Post Card Show in St.Kilda, and was absolutely stoked to have been awarded one of the six entries to be reproduced as postcards and sold through the gallery.

  • This guy was pretty cool, sitting there minding his own business, and I just had to get the shot. But as I lifted the camera and looked through the lens he just broke into this mean stare into the lens like he was gonna hurt me. I saw it and quickly pressed the shutter. Later I complimented him on his tattoos and showed him the shot and it was then that his frown turned into a broad grin…phew!

  • Spent blossoms caught in a spider web by the chook shed. Best viewed LARGE

  • Fairly old shot that I just chucked some of my new editing style at… I think it turned out alright! Enjoy!

  • My apologies for having no originality in flower choice but as you can see, I love my plain old dandelions! Anyway, in this image there are 3 stages of flower from the same plant, the bud, the flower and the post-flower fairy which to me are like 3 generations. I chose the layers and treatment to reflect all 3 generations by being aged yet still bright and not faded. / Have sold 1 x laminated print.

  • This is a collaboration between my daughter, Brianna (13), and myself. :) She’s a fantastic photographer for her age..she amazes me much of the time. She showed me this photo that she took, and I begged her to let me work on it. :) (yes…I had to beg! Teenagers..ya know?) Anyway, she’s been studying Japanese for a little over 2 years now, so when I asked her what we should call it, she said simply: ki. / Japanese for tree.. / / / >featured< / homepage / / /

  • Ok this may gross you out, you’ll probably hate it…. but it is different! June 2009. Sold the usage of this image for the cover of a fictional novel, The Laptop-Cyber Murders by Daniel Parks. The book has been previous published but is being re-edited and partially re-written for publishing later this year. As when it is published I’ll add an image here!

This photography is a door’s detail from Lyon (France). There are many like this around my house. This detail is around 30cm long. I’ve choosen it because of the metalic rusted hinge. This rust appears under the old but powerful peeling paint with many different colours. These coloured contrasts are stunning in huge size print !

  • I recently got an intuos tablet. / This is the first “real” thing I’ve created while using it. / Other then this I’ve just been scribbling and trying to get used to using it. / I’m pretty excited about it!

  • A print version of the image that I initially did for a T-shirt. [Thanks to Skeletal Mess for some fantastic textures.] Featured – Layered with Texture – August 2009
