Model – Millie Claire / MUA – Cloe Bunter of Makeup by Cloe Pentacon Six TL + Kodak Portra 160VC / I won’t show the digital versions, seems to have caused a little friction on dA ;) Needless to say if you’re familiar with the original Snow White text, you might just know what this is about :D Melbourne’s Parklands have very photogenic footpaths. Wild deer in Yosemite National Park – USA I spent ages with a group of these deer. Walked slowly to approach, after approx 15 mins i was surrounded by them, couldn’t shoot as they were too close, one just 10cm away, so we just hung out together until the cold drove me inside. Was a beautiful experience. They have the most gorgeous eyes :)) I loved every minute in Yosemite. In Northern Minnesota we took a canoe trip in Voyageurs National Park. The day we arrived it was raining lightly and a very heavy fog sat over the lakes and rivers. It seemed our September vacation was not off to a very pleasant start. While standing on the dock waiting for our boat to come and shuttle us to Kettle Falls on the US/Canadian border, I took this picture of a small waterfall coming into the Ash river and the autumn colors reflecting off the water. The next three days were gloriously sunny and mild. The fall leaves were stunning and the blue water of the park lakes was truly just like a dream.

I purposefully went to Cradle Mountain in Autumn to get the colours of the deciduous beech tree (northofagus gunnii. With the help of the morning light, I came away with this beautiful memory.

At the very north end of the Grampians the major ranges covered with trees give way to rocky bluffs, caves and some of the best rock climbing anywhere in Australia. Summery Day valley is the ‘entry level’ location here – it’s a series of beautiful cliffs in a horse shoe arena. Always a spot in the sun, always a spot in the shade, 30min walk up to a great camping / sunset spot. Just writing about it makes me long to be there.

I dedicate this image to my good buddy Graeme P! We were chasing winged insects through watermead park in Leicestershire with schoolboy glee and relish as the hours tumbled by like seconds and the sun beat down with vigour. What a spectacle we must have been to onlookers…...two rotund gentlemen chasing bugs and whooping with joy, standing or occasionally oooh ahh thricketing to hour knees to sit amongst the flowers a la gorillas in the mist style…...that is until she who must be obeyed phoned me to ask if I was ever coming home…...so…with the thumbprint on my forehead throbbing like a good ‘ne I came home…..only to find a message sometime later from Mr P saying….”just got in with lots of DragonFly shots”....wanker…LOL he knew they were my grail for the day! So….being a boy…and to its fullest extent that means I cant let him out do me…....I snuck out and shot this…...This is for you Mr P…...I hope you like it…..and I hope others like it too!
