A celebration of colour, and of … orange!

been reading about tribal child raising and the benefits, and we know I like birds… I began this art as abstract patterns, bubbles of pattern that transformed when I realised by putting a ‘fork in the road’ to the concentric circles, that I created an eye and beak. Before that, it could’ve been shown either way up. also, it transformed from earthy brown colours, to a colourful bird. ‘Is it art? ‘my teacher used to always question. He’s not here now. He’s just asking the question still! in my head! I like it-it’s bright, colouful and alive.

We all know this feeling! This is my favourite design because it’s wild and cute at the same time. I took this photo at the Melbourne Zoo while on work experience and had fun playing around with it on the computer.

A party that celebrates all that life has to offer,both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity. Another peacock feather pic. Ive always been fascinated with the colours of peacocks, and the way they fan their tail feathers out. They are one of the most magnificent looking birds. Taken with a Canon 5D and 100-400mm L Series Lens. Could make a nice greeting card?
