  • Oil painting.

  • It may look as if the theme is the same as in Global Warming but it’s not. This painting predates the other one about 10 years. A dark time had come to pass and friendship, love and compassion had brought me back to life and colour. To understand the title better you’ll have to view this one large. watercolour on paper, original about 24×33cm. detail at 100% / more work / the card /

  • Watercolour on Succes paper, 200 g/m² / Original size: +/- 30/21cm Never mind how dark and scary it looks, it’s a painting with a very positive message: rebirth. Death is only the beginning. I wasn’t consciously painting another one of my tarot card interpretations, but I guess I’ll have to admit this one was heavily influenced by the Death tarot card.

  • Taken Sony Cybershot. Unedited. View of the Gokova Gulf and its’ spring sunset. / Photograph taken in April 2005. The sunset over the Gulf Of Gokova, Turkey gave way to skies that look more painted than real. • Weird but wonderful….. /

  • From the on-going green series.

  • The more I was looking at About Life, Birt and Rebirth, the more I thought that it lacked a little something, some punch, character or purpose. So I made another go at it. This time, I used three more textures that I created, plus a mushroom photo that I shot last fall during a photowalk in the mountain in St-Bruno, Quebec. I made a layer of sparkles and starbursts, duplicated and added a slight glow with motion blur to the bottom layer, then lowered opacity. • This is a calendar with just a few of my self portraits from my 365 days project. I take all the photos myself with a remote control, a canon 1000d/20d and a tripod. The project is one photo a day for a year. I love it so much

  • Envisage this: the soft drawn out keening of stringed instuments – an empty boat floats gently alone, water slapping quietly at the sides – why is it so quiet , dark and misty – where are the people? ................................... Featured in “Out of the Past” group.

  • Excerpt from the poem “Volcanic Fury” by Connie Estes. / ........... / “Crowned by a halo of clouds / Her ambiguous physique / Casts an illusion that fades her frame / Into the vaporous mist above her / She murmurs a deep rumble / Then with a mighty gesture / She quakes the earth below”............ Featured in “Insomniacs and Other Night Crawlers” group.

  • BEST VIEWED LARGE!! Yesterday, Jamie and I went out to take photos and found ourselves in the village of Woodhouse Eaves, where we discovered this magical cave. This place immediately spoke to me. It seemed a place I could have dreamed up; I was enchanted by the breathtaking colours of the rock walls and the light that bathed the place, illuminating those colours, bringing them to vivid life in eyes…and my imagination. So, pictures were taken, and that imagination was allowed to run wild… here are my Vivid Dreams in a place that I could almost believe my mind conjured up if I didn’t have the photographs to prove its existence. All photos used in this composite are mine.

  • Self-portrait – my sexy lips ;) / Edited in photoshop with ink outlines filter, fresco and neon glow, from memory…. This is a cropped version of the original Camera: Samsung L730. / Focal length: 6.3mm / ISO: 200 / Shutter: 0.5 sec / Aperture: f/3.0 I wanted to recreate Dali’s Mae West piece, but I’m not very good at photoshop and can’t really work out the layers… :( Created 16.10.2009
