Reeds and plants in dry lake bed of Lake Gwelup taken at first light as sun’s rays moved across from left to right. Multiple exposures of 9 shots moving with the suns direction.

This intimate, bright yet dark, static yet flowing, autumn themed image was made in Baxter State Park, Maine, USA in October 2006. I like the contrast of the flowing water beneath the still branches, the pop of color from the remaining birch leaves, and the juxtaposition of the branch atop the stream in tone and color! /

just doodling ;-) / erasing the points along pen-tool lines on a layer on top of a gradient layer, when I was happy, I turned the top layer into a brush before deleting that layer, then using the brush to delete everything surrounding the dots on the gradient layer, tadaa edit; my index finger is still sore from all this dotting with the mouse, need tablet now ;-)
